Eden's Story

Eden is a beautiful short-haired tortoiseshell cat. We believe she is approximately 1-2 years old. She is a confident outgoing girl who loves to play and eat! She absolutely LOVES human attention and is always looking for her foster mom to give her love! She cannot wait to find her forever home so she can cuddle up with her new mom and/or dad on the couch.

Eden has tested positive for feline leukemia. Before she is adopted, we will do one more test to confirm her positive status. Because of this, we have been unable to test her with other cats. She has shown some dislike to cats coming up to her gate in her foster mom's office. If she was to be adopted with another cat, it would need to be another FELV positive cat. Currently she has not slowed down at all from her FELV infection. She does have some congestion that appears to be chronic, but still plays daily. It does not appear to affect her activity level. We are unsure how she would do with dogs or children, but would consider a home with a calm cat-friendly dog and/or children over 12.

Eden is spayed, parasite treated, and has age appropriate vaccinations. She tested negative for FIV and is micro chipped. The adoption fee is negotiable for a screened approved adopter.

If you would like to adopt Eden, please complete an online Adoption Form at our website https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-application/
Or click the about us tab on this page and continue to our Adoption Application.
If you have any questions about her or FELV, please send an email or inquiry.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION:

I take the time to write bios outlining the personality of each cat. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress.

PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match. I will only contact you if I feel your application will be a good fit.

1) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
2) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet,
3) Submitting an application does not lock you into a commitment to adopt.
4) If you would like to meet one of our cats please submit an application at https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-form/

Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/carolsferalsny
