Eddy's Story

Meet Eddy! He's happy and playful; silly and talkative; cuddly and sweet; loyal and trusting; and a testament to resilience in the face of adversity.

At just two years old, Eddy has gone through more than any cat should. After experiencing severe physical injuries, he had to start from the bottom. He lost vision in his left eye, had his jaw wired shut, and learned to eat from a feeding tube. Through it all, he was patient and gentle, never giving up on humans and sharing all the love he could.

These days, Eddy is a new cat! He wrestles with his foster siblings, chit-chats to anyone who will listen, makes himself into a warm scarf around his humans' necks, and embraces new people, cats, places, and experiences. He loves hamming it up to anyone he meets! He is fully healed and enjoying life.

Eddy loves hanging out with other animals, and hopes he can find a playful sibling in his forever home. The more the merrier! He also loves to play with his humans, so a household that can run his energy down and give him lots of enrichment would make his heart full. While he loves new people and animals, he is somewhat skittish to sudden noises or movements (who can blame him after what he endured?), so Eddy would love a family that can work with him and make sure he is comfortable as he adjusts to his surroundings.

Eddy can't wait to meet his new family! Could it be yours?
