Echo's Story

Meet Echo and Sonar, two tiny kittens who came to us as strays with ruptured eyes. Despite everything these little guys have been through, it certainly hasn't dampened their spirits! After some much-needed time to heal, Echo and Sonar have blossomed into incredibly friendly, social, and affectionate kittens. We lovingly nicknamed them our little monkeys because they are constantly climbing anything and everything just to get closer to you! These two LOVE to be held, absolutely LOVE to play, and are happiest when they're right by your side. They are super affectionate, outgoing, and eager to interact with their people.<br/>Even more amazing, both Echo and Sonar appear to have some vision. We're not sure how much they can see—it may be shadows or shapes—but they navigate their world with such confidence that they act like their vision challenges don't slow them down one bit! Echo is missing one eye completely, Sonar does have both. These special little boys have so much love and personality to give, and they're ready to find a home where they can continue to grow, play, climb, and be their silly, affectionate selves. Could Echo and Sonar be your new little monkeys? Although they do get along very well, they could go either separately or together.

Dessin Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Adoption: You need to submit an adoption application. The link is below. Once approved, we'll schedule an appointment. Spay and neuter: No pet gets adopted without being spayed or neutered. We're part of the solution to the pet overpopulation problem. Ten point behavioral assessment: A formal, ten point behavioral assessment is conducted on each dog to attempt to identify aggression or behavior problems, as well as to learn about the dog's personality. This helps us determine the best type of home for each dog/puppy.
