Echo's Story
Echo is a beautiful young adult black smoke cat with faint tabby markings, sometimes called a smoke tabby or ghost tabby. Black smoke cats have a very unique coat. The tips of their fur are black, but the base of each hair is a light silver color. When the fur moves or parts, the lighter undercoat shows through, creating a smoky, shimmering effect. In Echo’s case, you can also see soft tabby patterns hidden in her coat, which makes her even more special.

Echo is very friendly and affectionate with people and enjoys being close to her humans. She also became a bit of a local star after a dramatic rescue. She was stuck high in a tall tree for almost a week, and many neighbors became concerned and followed the effort to bring her down safely. Her rescue video can be seen here: https://www.facebook.com/reel/2056450881813789
. After the rescue, she received a full veterinary checkup and was TNR'd. The plan was to release her back, but during her spay recovery she showed just how affectionate and people oriented she truly is, so we decided to find her a home instead.

Echo can coexist with other cats but she is not particularly interested in sharing attention. She prefers to have her humans mostly to herself and would do best as the only pet in the home where she can soak up all the love.

Please submit an adoption application if you are interested: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WFC/Cat

All cats and kittens will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and complete FVRCP vaccination prior to adoption.
