Earl Gray's Story

Meet Earl Grey — a cheerful, affectionate little guy with a personality as warm as his name. This floppy tummy-forward noodle is generous with boops, smooches, chirps, and chatty little meows, and he absolutely melts for cheek scritches (though he’s happy to accept pets just about anywhere).
Earl Grey seems interested in making feline friends — even doing adorable little dances on his back legs to get another cat’s attention — though introductions may need patience and the right match.
Playtime is where Earl Grey truly shines. Feather wands? Track balls? Springs? Faux mice? Crinkle toys? Automated toys? He wants ALL OF THE TOYS. He’s endlessly curious, playful, and easygoing, always ready for fun and quick to entertain himself or his people.
While he’s not much of a lap cat right now, Earl Grey loves being near his humans and often chooses to lounge close by, soaking in the company. As he matures, his snuggly side may continue to blossom. For now, he’s the perfect mix of playful companion and affectionate sidekick — a happy little ball of sunshine who’s sure to grow into an incredibly sweet lifelong friend.

https://www.familiarhearts.org/adoptable-pets

Familiar Hearts Animal Society's Adoption Policy
We always have potential adopters fill out our adoption application first so we can first vet them and make sure we approve of them as adopters before then inviting them to meet the animal(s) they are interested in. We feel this not only saves time for our fosters, it helps us get to know the applicant better and better be able to match them with the potential pet that is best for them. We always make sure everyone has a lot of time to deeply consider the adoption before finalizing it. The adoption is considered finalized after the adoption contract is reviewed and signed and the fee is paid. We then tranfer all the vet records and microchip information to the new family. We also offer behavioral support before and after adoption and one free training session with our dog trainer for dog adopters.
