Earl's Story

EARL is a 4 year old neutered boy with a sad face and an even sadder story. Earl was brought to the emergency vet by Animal Control with an extremely painful open fracture of his right front leg, likely from a dog bite. He had several other punctures on his other legs that required antibiotics. Although he had a microchip, no owner was found and by the time his stray hold was up, his leg was very infected and required amputation. Despite this major surgery, Earl is showing us how brave and resilient he is. He very much enjoys to snuggle on a lap, get chin scratches, and just generally be wherever people are. He is weary of other cats but not aggressive and he doesn’t really care for dogs (unsurprisingly). He is fully vaccinated, Felv/FIV negative, and microchipped. Even on 3 legs, he handles stairs and smooth surfaces with ease. This boy deserves a soft place to land after everything he’s been through! Apply if that’s with you!
