Meet Eamon! <br/><br/>Eamon's estimated birthday is May 14, 2026.<br/><br/>Eamon was found in the backyard of a local art teacher alongside his mom and siblings. Since then, he's been showing everyone just what a wonderful little guy he is.<br/><br/>Eamon is chill, curious, intelligent, and playful a pretty perfect combination for a kitten. He's relaxed enough to happily curl up and watch a movie or show with you, but curious enough to quietly observe his surroundings and decide whether something is safe and worth investigating. When initially meeting him he would give one little hiss at someone new but was perfectly fine being pet and held after. He has since stopped that habit but when meeting a dog recently he brought it back, but was very curious about the dog. He may do well with a dog that is very cat friendly.<br/><br/>He's also a very smart, as he took to the litter box right away and quickly learned that the people who care for him are safe and trustworthy. When its time to play, he's all kitten! He loves playing with toys with his people, but he's also perfectly happy entertaining himself when you're busy. He does well with loud noises and usually keeps doing what he is doing, or will back up a bit to see if things are safe.<br/><br/>And fair warning: Eamon is excellent at hide and seek! He may occasionally disappear into a secret hiding spot, so his future family should be prepared to become experts at finding him. One thing he isn't a fan of, though, is collars with bells he'd much rather keep his stealth skills intact!<br/><br/>His name, Eamon (pronounced Ay-mon), is Irish and means wealthy protector. In Ireland, black cats are traditionally considered good luck and are associated with bringing health and happiness and Eamon certainly seems ready to bring plenty of both to his forever home. <br/><br/>Eamon is ready to find the people he can call his forever family.
