DUTCHESS #1864 - Offered by Owner - Friendly Tux's Story

Dutchess is a very sweet, gentle cat who would thrive in a calm, predictable home. She can be a bit anxious in busy environments, and our household—with two working parents and active teenage boys—has proven to be a little overwhelming for her.

She shows affection in her own quiet way, often brushing against your legs when she’s ready for attention. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily relax beside you, and when she feels especially safe, she even enjoys belly scratches. Dutchess is not very vocal and prefers a peaceful atmosphere.

We love her dearly, but we’ve come to realize that our home may no longer be the best fit for her. With frequent changes in routine and people coming and going, she tends to feel nervous. While she tolerates our other cat, we believe she would be happiest as the only pet in a quieter home where she can truly relax and feel secure. Dutchess lives in Vancouver with her family and her rehoming fee is $50.

For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.

Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
