He does not enjoy young children and cannot live with dogs—he may chase or swat at them—so a dog-free, adult-focused home would be the best fit for him.<br/><br/>Dutch also enjoys kneading and scratching at carpet, and he isnt a fan of car rides. But once hes home and comfortable, this gentle guy is happy to settle in and soak up some affection.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a calm, sweet companion who loves attention, Dutch may be the perfect match!<br/><br/>At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! <br/>We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals.
