Dusty's Story

Dusty is a sweet 3-year-old boy who may be a little shy when you first meet him, but beneath that timid exterior is a gentle, loving cat who simply needs a little patience and understanding. Once he feels comfortable, Dusty enjoys soft pets and quickly begins to show his affectionate side.

He previously lived in a home with a dog and is doing wonderfully with the other cats in our Kitty Kottage, making him a great candidate for a variety of home environments. Dusty enjoys the simple things in life—playing with string toys, lounging on the screened porch, and soaking up peaceful moments throughout the day.

Life at the shelter can be overwhelming for sensitive cats like Dusty. While he has made great progress, what he truly needs is a loving family willing to give him the time and reassurance to build his confidence. The reward will be watching him blossom into the wonderful companion we know he can be.
