Dusty's Story

Meet Dusty, a 1-year-old, 7-pound cat with a playful, curious personality and a real love for people. He enjoys being petted, rolling around in catnip, sampling treats, and exploring the shelves along the walls. He's social, friendly, and always interested in seeing what's going on around him.

Dusty originally came to us from the outdoors and has spent the past month receiving treatment for a wound at the base of his tail. Through all of his care, he has remained friendly and easy to handle. Dusty is FIV+, which means his immune system is somewhat compromised, but FIV-positive cats can still live long, healthy lives. It is primarily transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds, not through casual contact. Dusty is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and more-and he's ready for a home of his own.
