Hi there, my name is Dusty and I'm a sweet, senior that was surrendered due to no fault of my own. The shelter doesn't have history of how I may be with other cats, dogs, or children, but they think it'd be best for me to go to a quiet home. While in the shelter, I have been housed in a room with other kitties and had no issues with them. I can be shy in new environments so please don't be discouraged if it takes me a second to warm up to you. My previous owners said that once I get comfortable, I love to sit next to you and be stroked to my heart’s content. I'd make the perfect couch buddy to keep you company! In my previous home, I did have some accidents next to the litterbox but while at the shelter I’ve been using my litterbox like a pro! Because of that history, I should go to a home that understands this and will keep my litter box clean, ensure I am as least stressed as possible, and even have multiple choices for a litter box if I have an issue. Even though I’m a senior cat, I have no known health issues and am ready to go home with a wonderful family like yours.
