Meet Duckey:
15 year old darling Duckey came to us this year when she lost the only home and family she ever knew. When she first arrived, she told everyone she met how lonely she was and sought comfort from anyone who had time to spend with her. Her favorite spot are laps and she is not fussy if yours is small, bumpy, big, soft or wiggly. She could stay there all day. Now that her Peach Room is bursting with fun playful youngsters who also vie for attention, it is certainly harder for her to find a lap of her own. Although the volunteers and socializers makes sure she gets as much love as possible, Duckey deserves to find a family of her own where she can hang out all evening on the lap of her very own person! If you have an empty lap that needs some love, Duckey would be the happiest girl making sure yours is kept warm all winter! Both your hearts will be bursting too! Come by and visit with her and by all means, sit down and enjoy the love!
