Dragon's Story

Dragon
DSH Tortie
Approx 1 year old

Meet Dragon 🐉
Dragon is a stunning tortie with rare white socks, bright green eyes, and a gentle, soulful personality. Truly, everyone who meets her comments on how beautiful she is. She came to us from a farm up north with her tiny kittens and raised them with devotion. Now that her babies are older, it’s finally her turn to be loved and cherished.

Dragon is a sweet yet undemanding companion. She will happily soak up pets for as long as you want, but once you’re done, she simply settles nearby without asking for more. She loves being part of your day, relaxing on the couch beside you, or curling up on your desk while you work, without ever being pushy. She’s not a lap cat, but she adores affection and will even roll over for belly rubs (and yes... it is genuinely not a trap!).

When she’s in a playful mood, Dragon has a hilarious streak. She loves catnip toys and will hold them in her mouth and run around the house meowing with her trophy. And watching her bunny-kick her favorites is guaranteed to make you smile!

She gets along well with other cats and can coexist peacefully with respectful dogs. Dragon is also learning that counters aren’t snack spots, and she’s improving as she feels more secure around food.

If you’re looking for a calm, easygoing, and loving adult cat who will quietly brighten your home with her companionship and beauty, Dragon may be your perfect match. She is ready for a peaceful life full of affection and a person to call her own. 💚

Location: In foster

Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and dewormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, fill out an application online at figandfriendspetrescue.org/adopt

Fig and Friends Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
~We do not adopt to homes with animals who are not spayed or neutered unless there is a valid reason such as vet recommendation. ~We do check references including landlord if you rent and your vet both past and present. ~We do not adopt to homes that plan on declawing the cat we have adopted out to you or that plan on letting a cat outside (unless on a leash and harness under owner's continued observation). ~If we see something on your application that we are concerned about, we will always try and have a conversation with you to find out the why. We understand you might have declawed a cat in the past or had to rehome an animal. It can happen to anyone. We like to dig deeper and won't deny someone just based on surface information.
