Dr. Phil's Story
Hi, I'm Dr. Phil. And yes, I do have opinions.

I'm a handsome 5-year-old brown tabby who has learned a few things about life-most importantly, boundaries are important! I enjoy attention, but I prefer that my humans respect my personal space. In particular, my belly is a no-touch zone.

I came to the shelter after being found outdoors. A family had been feeding me, but the other outdoor cats weren't exactly welcoming, so eventually I found myself needing a new place to call home.

These days, I'm looking for someone who understands that cats have different ways of communicating. I can become overstimulated if I get too much petting, so I'll appreciate a person who pays attention to my signals and lets me decide when I've had enough.
The way to my heart? TREATS.
I am highly motivated by snacks and firmly believe most problems can be solved with the appropriate offering of deliciousness.

As for other cats, my history with them is a little uncertain, so I'd probably prefer to take introductions nice and slow.
If you're looking for a handsome, treat-loving guy who knows what he likes and isn't afraid to tell you when you've crossed the line...
I'm Dr. Phil. Let's talk about it.
