Dove's Story

Dove is a sweet and gentle kitty, estimated to be born around January 2024. She gave birth to a litter of five kittens in March 2026, and has been busy since then mothering her boisterous litter.<br/><br/>As her kittens are growing more independent, Dove is starting to show more of her personality. She is very affectionate if you are gentle, though she is nervous around loud sounds and quick movements. <br/><br/>Dove loves to be pet on the cheeks and head and lets you know with her loud purr. She also enjoys being brushed, and will rub up against the brush asking for more. Her favourite treats are freeze dried chicken or shrimp, and she will run circles around your legs as soon as she hears you open the bag.<br/><br/>Dove does not like other cats. She would do best as an individual cat and should be adopted into a home without other pets. Dove has never been around dogs or young children, but due to her timid temperament, her foster does not think she would do well with either.<br/><br/>Dove will be ready to go to her forever home at the end of June, when she is finished raising her kittens.<br/><br/>NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.<br/><br/>NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.<br/><br/>NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
