Dory's Story
Dory debuted in our shelter as a 4-week-old kitten in May 2018. She was quickly adopted but after 8 years has found her way back to us, looking to 'just keep swimming' her way into a new heart. Dory is shyfully curious, needing a best friend but not sure how to make the right impression. It's been a long time since she's been out of a comfort zone! Given this timid nature, we recommend Dory go home with someone 'cat-experienced' that views acclimation as part of the fun. Dory has previously lived with other cats, but slow introductions are recommended. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia. Dory is currently hanging out in one of our holding rooms at our Lahaska location, be sure to ask about her at our Front Desk!
