Kittens grow up very quickly, and can live 14-20 years. If you are not planning to make an unconditional commitment to keep a kitten for its entire life, please do NOT apply to adopt one.* These two gorgeous girls were born outside this past summer to a feral mother cat. They are fine with other pets after the usual adjustment period. They like to play, and can be shy initially. Dorothy and Elphelba will NOT be adopted out as an “only child”, and must go to a home with an existing cat or kitten that likes to PLAY with other cats, or with a sibling or another cat or kitten from our shelter. They have been spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia.
