Meet Dorothy! <br/><br/>Dorothy is a bicolor tabby, which means she is a grey/brown tabby with a little bit of orange. She was brought into Happy Tails in April 2026.<br/><br/>Dorothy was brought in with three other girl cats- Blanche, Rose, and Sophia. She was also brought in with two boy cats, Miles and Stan. They were all brought up together in the same home before being brought into Happy Tails. This means Dorothy isn't bothered by being around other cats.<br/><br/>Dorothy is sweet and outgoing. She likes attention and likes to be petted, but she isn't overbearing about it. She is the perfect balance of sweet and calm. <br/><br/>If Dorothy could speak she would say, "I'm Dorothy and I like pets so much, but Miles is always stealing all of them! Please come by to meet me and pet me!"<br/><br/>Come meet Dorothy today!

Happy Tails Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our adoption fees are $200 for an adult dog and $250 for puppies. Cats and Kittens are $100, You must complete an adoption application on our website. You may visit the shelter anytime to interact with the cats and kittens. Dog and puppy meet and greets are by appointment. You must be 21 years of age or older to adopt. We are located at 1408 McNeil Road in Rock Falls, Illinois, between Dixon Avenue and Route 30.  Easily accessible from Interstate 88. Currently, we are open to the public M, W, F, SA, SU from 8:00 a.m. to Noon .  Our evenings hours are Tuesday and Thursday 4 pm to 7pm.
