Dorothy's Story
Dorothy came to us as a semi-feral stray with a litter of kittens in tow. All of her babies have been adopted now and it's Dorothy's turn to find a loving home.

Since Dorothy had no experience with humans previously she is quite shy when meeting new people, but is progressing beyond expectations in her foster home.

Within one week of arriving she's coming out to play beside her foster mom, is coming out to greet her when it's meal time, and will lay down beside her fosters with just enough distance between them that she feels safe. But as soon as another cat enters the room Dorothy pops out. makes some sweet chirping noises and goes to rub herself all over the resident cats, getting all the love she can get.

Dorothy would do really well with another confident, playful, gentle cat (or two). While she's not quite ready to be a lap cat she's showing all the signs of wanting affection and we're sure that with patience she'll be your bestie in no time, especially if you have Churu treats!

Dorothy has also been tested with the resident dog in her foster home and while she's still a little unsure of him she will comfortably lay in the same room.

Dorothy is ready to meet you in her foster home, even if she's too shy to come say hi.

Dorothy has been examined by a veterinarian, spayed, FVRCP vaccinated, flea-treated, dewormed, and microchipped. She is looking for an indoor-only home.
