Dorothy

Dorothy’s journey has been nothing short of incredible. Once living in a now-demolished building on 3rd Street in Albany, she was left to fend for herself in a vacant lot after the city cleared the area.<br/><br/>When we found Dorothy, she had an injured tail that required amputation. But don’t worry, she’s doing beautifully now. While she may not have a tail, she has plenty of heart.<br/><br/>Now safe and settled, Dorothy has assimilated nicely into shelter life. She coexists peacefully with the other cats but usually prefers to do her own thing, often relaxing in a cozy corner while quietly taking in everything around her. Over time, Dorothy has let her guard down and learned to enjoy affection. She’ll happily accept pets and attention, though she will respectfully let you know when she’s had enough.<br/><br/>Dorothy is a gentle soul who would do best in a calm home, with someone who has experience with shy cats. 🐾<br/><br/>Approx.
