Hi, my name is Doris. I am 2 years old and was surrendered to the shelter 8/11/26 because my owner had too many animals. I’m more on the reserved side and am slowly learning to trust people. Since being here, I've been told I have an RBF... whatever that means! I've been slowly warming up to people and now will let people pet me and I melt right into them! Don't let my "RBF" trick you!! I've never been in a home before so my adjustment to a home environment might take a while. So, with me being shy, and never being in a home, it will take me a bit to adjust. I think a quiet home would be best for me. I just need a person who understands where I'm coming from and has some patience to work with me and bring out the side of me I never knew I had. I would love if you came and met me

If you rent your home, we require written proof (letter or lease) from your landlord that you are allowed to have pets. We undertake this kind of thorough review to ensure that animals who have already been discarded at least once will never have to experience this again.
