Dora the Explorer's Story

Meet me at PetSmart Hurst!

I am currently in the adoption area waiting for my forever home.
Email meowtownar@gmail.com to schedule a time to meet me.

I’m Ruthie, Dora’s foster mom, and this girl has always been something special.

Dora has a very clever, curious spirit. She was the smallest of her litter, with pretty gray tabby stripes and the cutest little white “boots” on her front feet. From the very beginning, she stood out — she used to figure out how to escape her crate just to climb up and be close to her mama. She’s smart, determined, and always thinking.

She loves to tuck herself into cozy little hiding spots and play her own version of hide-and-seek, especially with the other cats. She’s independent, but still very connected — when it’s time for bed, all I have to say is “let’s go night-night,” and she comes running.

Dora hasn’t been around kids or dogs, but she does well with other cats and enjoys having a little feline companionship. She’s ready for a home where her curious, intelligent personality can really shine.

Born 8/19/2024

At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house.

If you are interested in meeting this kitten, please email MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit the foster home!
