Donny's Story

This is a good man who found himself in a scary situation but hasn't once lost his trust or love for humans. He jumps right up on the bed for snuggles, offers up his belly for rubs, and always greets you at the door when you come in. He is about 5 years old.

Donny was found one early morning, outside the shop door, in a carrier. There was no note, but we knew right away that this boy had been loved and cared for, and that his family must have felt they had no other choice.

Donny's family had to leave and couldn't take their boy with them. They planned the best they could to keep him safe, knowing he wouldn't understand why he was left behind. They knew the shop owner regularly donated to help animals, they knew she had contacts in the rescue community, they put a small litter box in the back of his carrier in case he had to wait for help. He was clean, well fed, already neutered and declawed.

Donny was lucky that we could step in quickly and give him the soft landing they had prayed for. He was scared and overwhelmed, and we are so proud of him for putting that all behind him. He is the best boy and all he wants is to be somebody's cuddle baby. He is currently in a foster home. Contact tammy.arsi@gmail.com if you are interested in him!

ARSI's cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and tested for FeLV and FIV prior to adoption.
