Domino's Story

Meet Domino—the quiet observer with the show-stopping style! While his siblings tumble headfirst into the action, Domino takes a step back, watching with those curious eyes until the perfect moment to dash in and join the fun. His unique tuxedo markings set him apart from the crowd—complete with a dashing little goatee and playful spots that make him look one-of-a-kind. Domino has a softer, sweeter side too: he’ll roll onto his back, stretch out those tiny paws, and let you rub them until he drifts off into dreamland. Playful yet thoughtful, silly yet soulful, Domino is the perfect mix of charm and cuddles—ready to be the missing piece in your heart (and home). Domino wants to live in a home with other cats! Currently in foster care in Culver City. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets. If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments. Del Gato Rescue's Adoption Policy

Step 1: Potential adopters must fill out an Adoption Application. We will reach out at our earliest convenience (typically 1-3 days). Step 2: If your application is approved, we will then conduct a virtual homecheck. Step 3: If your homecheck is approved, we will move forward with a meet-and-greet. Step 4: If that goes well, and both parties are interested in moving forward, we will coordinate adoption logistics.
