Dominique

Dominique is an adult tortoiseshell cat who is looking for her furever home. She came into the shelter as a very skinny stray kitty that one of our previous foster families found in their neighborhood. She had a collar stuck around her leg and a wound that we worked on healing. One of awesome foster parents took her into her home while we worked on helping her gain some weight as well.<br/><br/>After a few months, Dominique has now come into her spunky and sweet personality. It takes her some time to warm up in a new environment and with new people, but once she feels comfortable, she will show her true self. She loves to play with her toys, especially feather wand toys. Her favorite spot to be petted are her ears and she will push her head into your hand for more pets. She does let you know when she is done being pet by giving a little love nibble, so we are looking for a cat-savvy home that can read her cues. <br/><br/>She does not have a history with dogs or other cats, and we are looking for a home without young children.
