Dolly's Story

Meet Dolly.
With the passing of the legendary Dolly Parton, we couldn’t think of a more fitting name for this sweet, beautifully spirited girl. She is outgoing, loving, playful, and just seems to have that special little light about her. She loves toys and is an absolute shadow when it comes to people—you literally can't be in the room without her coming right over to join you and soak up attention, no matter what you're doing. She is tiny and looks like a six-month-old kitten, but the vet estimates she is about two or three years old.
Dolly came to us after her previous owners no longer wanted her. She had been living outside and having litter after litter, but those days are officially behind her. She is now spayed, microchipped, and more than ready to find the pampered indoor life she deserves.
In foster care, we’ve learned that she is a devoted, velcro companion who wants to be right by your side. She wants to be with her person, curl up in your lap, lounge on the bed, and sleep beside you every night. She even shares her foster home with a large German shepherd and didn't seem phased by him at all, though we aren't quite sure how she is with other cats yet. Above all else, she definitely prefers to be the center of her human's world.
Dolly is looking for her forever home where she can play, snuggle, and be adored. If you're looking for a sweet little best friend who will never let you feel lonely, email kstebing@gmail.com to meet her.
