Dolly B's Story

Dolly B was rescued as a tiny kitten, 5 weeks old, from an elementary school in Somerset, KY. No kitten should be on their own that young.

Dolly was very ill with upper respiratory illness and issues from malnutrition and has taken a lot to get her caught up to become the healthy, beautiful tortie kitten that she is. She remains very petite due to her poor start in life.

She remains a bit scared of people, but we attribute that to have to have numerous vet visits. So NOW she thinks anytime her foster Mom reaches for her she's going the the dreaded vet. Once picked up, though, she is a cuddler. She will need TIME, LOVE, AND PATIENCE from her forever human. She has a best friend in her foster home who is a special needs cat, so perhaps she would thrive in a home with another very easy going LAID back kitty.

Dolly prefers Tuna wet food, is current on age appropriate vaccines.

She is litter trained with good manners.

Dolly remains untested with Dogs and due to her early start we believe only a very calm older dog might be a possibility. She needs a home with NO young children, even as visitors.

To apply to adopt Dolly B, please click on the "More About Us" button toward the bottom of this page, on the right.
