Once the quiet observer of the group, this sweet girl has blossomed into an incredibly affectionate, chatty, and devoted little companion. And now that she’s discovered just how wonderful it is to love and be loved, she simply can’t get enough!<br/><br/>Dolly has become quite the little shadow. Wherever her favorite person goes, she’s sure to follow, keeping a watchful eye on everything they’re doing and making sure she doesn’t miss a moment together. She’ll happily greet you with a whole conversation when you return, as though she has a hundred things to tell you about the time you spent apart. There is something so special about being loved by a kitten who makes it abundantly clear that you’re her favorite part of the day.<br/><br/>And the snuggles? Oh, Dolly has discovered that she’s a big fan! She loves curling up close at bedtime, being held, soaking up kisses, and settling in for some quality time with her person. She has such a sweet, comforting presence, and there’s something about the way she seeks out affection that makes you feel every bit as loved as she does.<br/><br/>But don’t mistake her tenderness for a lack of personality! Dolly is wonderfully silly and full of life. She loves chasing wand toys, racing through tunnels, climbing tall cat trees, and finding new ways to entertain herself. For quite some time, she was perfectly content to observe her foster family from a distance, accepting affection on her own terms and keeping much of her sweet personality to herself. But with patience, consistency, and the freedom to decide when she was ready, something wonderful happened. That independent little observer blossomed into a devoted companion who now follows her foster mom everywhere, sleeps beside her every night, and seeks out the very affection she once seemed so indifferent to.<br/><br/>Dolly is a beautiful reminder that some of the most rewarding relationships are the ones we allow to unfold in their own time. Her future family will need to give her the same patience and understanding as she adjusts to a new home, without expecting her trust to arrive on a particular schedule.
