Dolly's Story

Dolly (2/19/22) is a sweet tabby who was found on the streets while heavily pregnant, and after being brought into foster care, she safely gave birth to five healthy kittens. Now that her babies have been raised, it's Dolly's turn to be spoiled.

Dolly is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves attention on her own terms. When she's in the mood for pets, she'll let you know by giving you a big head bump and reward you with the loudest, happiest purrs and belly flops. She appreciates having her boundaries respected and will thrive with someone who understands cat body language and enjoys earning a cat's trust. Dolly would do best as the only pet in the home, as she prefers not to share her space with other cats. She would also be happiest in a calm home without young children, since too much activity can make her feel overwhelmed.

Dolly is spayed, up to date with vaccines, FeLV/FIV negative, and litter box trained. She is ready for immediate adoption and her fee is $160.

Artemis Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
ADOPTION PROCESS If you're interested in adopting, please complete our Adoption Interest Form when submitting your inquiry. Once we receive your application, we'll contact you to schedule a visit to meet the cat(s) at our rescue. KITTEN ADOPTION POLICY Kittens under 10 months of age must be adopted with another kitten or young cat, or go to a home that already has a playful, feline companion. We do NOT adopt out single kittens unless there is another active cat already in the home. Cats 10 months and older may be adopted as solo pets, depending on their individual personality and needs. If you're looking to adopt just one cat and don't currently have another feline at home, we encourage you to inquire about our older kittens or adult cats who are happy as the only cat in the household. FINALIZING THE ADOPTION Once you've chosen your new family member(s), you'll complete an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. If you have any questions, please email us at info@artemisanimalrescue.com. We look forward to helping you find your perfect feline companion!
