Doho's Story

Meet Dojo — a handsome tabby boy who starts up his purr engine the moment you so much as glance his way. He’s one of eight siblings, and this whole crew was clearly born with an extra dose of affection and energy to share with the world.

Dojo’s favorite pastimes are chasing string and wand toys with total focus, then wrestling it out with his brothers and sisters until everyone flops down in a pile for a nap. He’s playful, warm, and always ready for the next adventure — whether that’s a toy mouse or a wrestling match.

Because he thrives on companionship and roughhousing, Dojo would be thrilled to go home with one of his brothers, or to join a household with another cat who loves to play hard and cuddle harder.

To adopt, please visit our website and fill out an application: https://www.familiarhearts.org/adoptable-pets

Familiar Hearts Animal Society's Adoption Policy
We always have potential adopters fill out our adoption application first so we can first vet them and make sure we approve of them as adopters before then inviting them to meet the animal(s) they are interested in. We feel this not only saves time for our fosters, it helps us get to know the applicant better and better be able to match them with the potential pet that is best for them. We always make sure everyone has a lot of time to deeply consider the adoption before finalizing it. The adoption is considered finalized after the adoption contract is reviewed and signed and the fee is paid. We then tranfer all the vet records and microchip information to the new family. We also offer behavioral support before and after adoption and one free training session with our dog trainer for dog adopters.
