DJ's Story

Hello, my name is DJ! I am the bold one of my litter, always looking to escape the kitten room to find new lands to explore. When I am done exploring the great wonders of the world my final destination is to climb one lucky foster’s leg and snuggle up for a good cuddle. I am known for my dive bomb snuggles on my foster’s chest when I’m feeling happy, which is at least daily. Shoes, wands, and mice are my favorite toys, but do not leave feathers within my reach or I will eat them. I play well with all of my siblings and would make a great partner with any of them. If you’re having trouble choosing, then I’d likely pick Dinkie Twinkie. I’ve become a real pro at using the litter box and eating. I am learning about other cats as my foster family has started to introduce me to my foster cat uncles. I’m a young kitten so I do need another kitten (1 year old or younger) to play with at my pace to be adopted. -- DJ is not yet neutered but will be neutered and microchipped as part of the adoption fee. All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. The Rescue Pack's Adoption Policy

If interested in one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website. The application will then be reviewed by our applications team and passed on to the foster of the animal that was applied for. The foster will then review the application and, if deemed a good fit, will initiate a phone call with the applicant. If, after the phone call, both applicant and foster feel it is a good fit, a meeting with the animal will be scheduled. Once the meeting happens, and the approval from both foster and applicant are given to move forward - our adoptions team will send an electronic payment link to the adopter. Once payment has been received, our adoption contract will be sent along with vet records. The foster and the adopter will agree on an official adoption date - and the animal will now live happily ever after! If an applied for animal is no longer available, our team will assist in trying to find another good fit! If an application is not a good fit, the applicant will also be notified.
