Meet Diya! He is an easygoing cat who's looking for a fresh start! Diya has lived inside his whole life and would love to keep it that way. He shows no interest in the outdoor life. Diya enjoys having the space to roam inside the home; he'll make himself familiar with every nook and cranny!<br/><br/>Diya is described as a calm and mellow boy. Even when meeting new people, he will approach with caution, but he isn't startled very easy. The only thing Diya doesn't like are vacuums. His favorite things include laser pointers, balls that jingle, and wand toys!<br/><br/>Diya has lived with children in the past and did well with them. He has not met other cats, dogs or small animals. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children is always recommended when bringing home a new pet. Ask a TCHS staff member for tips on how to ease the transition!<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
