Dixie - super social cat

When Dixie was adopted last year, she went into a home with cats and dogs and kids this was a kitten who had been deemed best of the litter, super sweet, outgoing, friendly, playful you name it, this was Dixie.<br/>And it still is just one and a half years old, Dixie is still very much a kitten in her attitude and she is absolutely sweet. So why did she lose her home? In one word, money.<br/><br/>Sometimes people adopt animals because they have a lot of love to give, but unfortunately with the rising costs in our day-to-day life, covering veterinary care can be challenging. Dixie's family still loves Dixie, but they are dealing with giving good care to all of their animals; when Dixie showed up with a wound on her neck, they couldn't afford the vet care. They released her to Rescue, and more than just a wound, this is a matter of fleas. The vet has deemed this a self induced rash/wound caused by scratching, probably at fleas.<br/><br/>Dixie has been treated and is flea free, has been given an antibiotic to clear up any problems with the wound. She's had her vaccinations updated, she's microchipped, and has been indoor only.
