DINO's Story

DINO: Neutered male, approximately 4-5 years old

Dino's foster mom says he's cuddly and hilarious. His foster dad says he's an "odd duck", but we think he's just jealous when his foster mom gets all the snuggles.

Dino would be the perfect companion for a quiet single or couple who needs just one Practically Perfect Pet. He greets his people at the door to his room and escorts them to his empty food dish. Once he's eaten, he settles in on a lap for a good scritch and cuddle. Then it's off to prowl around the room looking for some fun. He loves having people around but is quite content to amuse himself when they're not.

Dino is a big, handsome, solid boy with soft, sleek fur and a commanding voice. When he isn't lounging on the bed, he is looking for someone willing to listen to his stories. He loves food, treats, and head and cheek rubs. Sometimes he even asks for belly rubs! Pro tip: do not offer head or belly rubs immediately after eating smoked salmon! Occasionally he experiments with a little love bite, but he understands the word "no" and is easily distracted with a toy.

We think Dino misses the outdoors, so a home with a catio would be ideal. Dino is not 100% sure about sharing his home with other cats, but in a previous foster home he tried to play with other foster cats. It's not his fault they were scared because he's so big!

Dino has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, and vaccinated. His medical records will accompany him upon adoption.

If you would like to be Dino's new family, please submit an application using this link: HTTPS://CRPAWS.ca/adoption If you are interested in more than one CRPAWS cat, include all their names on your application.

Every application is considered carefully by our small but mighty team of volunteers. We will be in touch as soon as possible, normally in 3 days or less.
