Meet Diesel! Diesel is a 6 month old neutered male. Diesel is a sweet and affectionate boy. He is a purr machine and likes to rev his engine. He is a little unsure about being held but given the opportunity he will snuggle up on your lap. Kids- Yes Dogs- Unknown Cats- Yes Unless otherwise specified, the adoption fee for cats and kittens is $200 All adoptions come fully vetted with spay/neuter, 1st year vaccines and dewormer. If you would like to come and meet any of our adoptable cats please just come swing by the Pet Centre from 10 am-4 pm Monday-Saturday, they would love to see you!

Wetaskiwin Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

After selecting your pet, we require you to fill out the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee. After this is done your new family member will be ready for pick up in 24 hours. This gives you time to ready your home for a new addition and gives us time to make sure that any paperwork and services required are complete. If you change your mind in this 24 hour hold period your payment will be refunded to you. Choosing a pet is a big decision for you and your family but it is also a big life change for your new pet. We require all potential adopters to meet the animal in person prior to adopting. We unfortunately cannot accommodate travel arrangements or shipping of an animal.
