Diego's Story

Meet Diego! He is a handsome three-year-old shorthaired cream lynx point who came to us from another shelter. Diego is a gentle and sweet guy who is taking his time to adjust to life here, showing that he appreciates a calm and patient approach. His striking coat and soft demeanor make him a truly special companion.

We’re still getting to know Diego as he settles in, but he’s already shown glimpses of his affectionate and easygoing personality. We look forward to learning more about him and helping him find a loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and truly comfortable.

Since March 13, 2026, Diego the cat has waited at the shelter with quiet resilience, his gentle heart full of hope, ready to bring love and joy to the home that’s patiently waiting for him. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.
