Diego's Story

Hello there, I’m Diego! My day cannot be wasted, I have important things to do like play with my humans and toy mice. I have Barnacle Kitten Disorder, I attach to my humans like a barnacle the minute they enter the kitten room (I seriously doubt my foster mom that this is a real condition). Once I wake, I pry myself off my human host and I seek out my siblings, Dottie and Doja for playtime. We wrestle, chase, and play keep away with any toy that moves. Did I mention that I was fast? Lightning speed and agility to match. I’m a great jumper, amazing my foster family with bigger jumps every day.

Born in November 2025, I had a rough start to life but am doing well now. At the food dish I eat well and share with my siblings making sure we all get enough. I’m just being introduced to the other cats in the house and so far, I’m a good little kitty that just wants to see the world. In the litter box I’ve buried so many treasures that I should be a pirate. Aye, matey, let me be your barnacle!

If you are interested in meeting this kitten, please fill out an application on our website!

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

--
In hopes of promoting healthy lifelong social skills for cats, The Rescue Pack has a policy for kittens who are 4 months or younger that requires them to be adopted: As a pair, with a cat who is 3 years or younger, or adopted into a home with a cat who is 3 years or younger.

Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age.

The Rescue Pack's Adoption Policy
If interested in one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website. The application will then be reviewed by our applications team and passed on to the foster of the animal that was applied for. The foster will then review the application and, if deemed a good fit, will initiate a phone call with the applicant. If, after the phone call, both applicant and foster feel it is a good fit, a meeting with the animal will be scheduled. Once the meeting happens, and the approval from both foster and applicant are given to move forward - our adoptions team will send an electronic payment link to the adopter. Once payment has been received, our adoption contract will be sent along with vet records. The foster and the adopter will agree on an official adoption date - and the animal will now live happily ever after! If an applied for animal is no longer available, our team will assist in trying to find another good fit! If an application is not a good fit, the applicant will also be notified.
