Dickson and Dixie (a bonded pair)'s Story

Please visit Dickson and Dixie at Maser’s Pet Store at 6515 NE 181st St in Kenmore. Hours: 9-6 Monday - Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday.

Dickson is short haired male ‘moo or cow” kitty. He and his sister, Dixie, were part of a litter born to an outside mom. They were never feral and are sweet, friendly kittens. They are approximately 4 months old and have been snuggled by their rescuer since they were 4 weeks old. They are small for their age but will often ‘catch up’ by 6-8 months.

They have been raised around other friendly cats, kittens and a
small dog. Both are normal active kittens that still will need
some work on house manners, particularly scratching on
furniture. They are pretty good at their foster home now, but will
need reinforcing in a new environment.

Dickson is a snuggle bug and purr machine. He is active and
loves carrying toys around. Dixie is a bit more reserved, but
when things are calm, she also curls up for snuggles. Because
she is naturally reserved, no young children or large, active dogs,
please. Since they are a bonded pair, they will need to be
adopted together.

Both cats are altered, up to date on vaccines, wormed, flea rx, test for FELV and FIV, and microchipped.

Adoption donation applies.

Cat Tales Rescue's Adoption Policy
Cats are a 15 - 20 year commitment, so we work very hard to make sure that the cat or kitten you are interested in is a good match. We want you to have the right cat! All of our cats and kittens come with a life-time return guarantee. They can be returned at any time and for any reason. We often recommend a two week trial just to be sure it is a good fit. We've had people suggest that this is hard on cats. It is! But not as hard as being in the wrong home for a decade or more. Re-homing adult cats can take months or longer, so it is our goal for all adoptions to be for the life of the cat. Cat Tales cats and kittens will have the following before adoption. Spay / Neuter surgery Screening for Feline Leukemia and FIV Age appropriate vaccines Micro-chipping Treatment for known parasites [Typically fleas, worms and mites.]
