Diana & Moon's Story

From survival to snuggles—Diana and Moon are ready for their happy ending.

Sweet Diana and her best friend Moon have already endured more heartbreak than any cats should. Found abandoned in the summer of 2025 — thin, frightened, and struggling to survive — it was clear they had once known human love and definitely did not belong out there on the streets. After a few months in care, they gradually reached a healthy weight and were thriving on a steady diet of love and affection, and their foster mom said she wanted their forever home to be with her.

Tragically, just as their future seemed secure, their beloved foster mom suddenly passed away. Once again, Diana and Moon faced an unexpected loss. But these resilient girls adapted beautifully to their new foster home and are now ready to find the forever family they so richly deserve.

Moon is a gentle, affectionate 3-year-old who loves to be petted and can often be found perched atop her cat tree so that she can greet her people at eye level as they walk by. Her BFF Diana is the more outgoing of the two, an incredibly sweet and gentle girl, about 5 years old. Diana will sometimes follow her people around the house, quietly seeking attention. When her foster mom sits down on the sofa, Diana is eager to climb into her lap, ready for cuddles. Diana likes to sleep next to her humans at night, while Moon likes to snuggle under the covers a little further away.

Both Diana and Moon are wonderfully well-mannered, low-key, quiet girls. In the morning they wait patiently for their breakfast. They love scratching on their cat tree and leave the furniture alone! They do have their playful side and are happy to engage with wand toys when people are up for that, but they also are content simply being near their humans. As a bonded pair, they love to take naps together and groom each other, and more often than not can be found peacefully relaxing side by side.

Both cats have been fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.

These sweet girls have survived abandonment and heartbreak — but their story could have a happy ending with you. Could you be the one to give Moon and Diana the safe and loving home they crave?

If you are interested in adopting please visit the link below to fill out our adoption application via Shelterluv.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BCC/Cat

You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us.

BCC does not have a shelter or storefront.
