Meet Dezzy

Dezzy came to us after the passing of his owner, who was a loved and dedicated volunteer with our organization for many years. We want to honor her memory by finding Dezzy the perfect home. He does have an autoimmune disease, polyarthritis which is where the body attacks the joints, meaning he has trouble moving. Luckily, he is made comfortable with 2 pills per day, which he takes very easily. He is also on his weightloss journey - he came to us at around 20 pounds and has lost a little weight since he has been here with a special diet.

Dezzy wants to be your best friend! He lived previously with another cat and dog, though we have noticed he is not a fan of kittens. But really, he just wants love from YOU! He will meow at you until you sit next to him and pet him, and he will lick you to love you right back. He is so full of love, we want to make sure he has a home to spoil him for the rest of his days!
