Hi, I'm Dezi & I'm just PURRaying my new person will find me! I once had a favorite person. His lap was my favorite place to nap. His voice could make me come running from another room. If he sat down, I was there. If he got up, I wanted to know where he was going. Then one day, he was gone. He went to heaven & he took a little piece of my heart with him. Since then, I've been waiting for that feeling again. Not the feeling of having a house. The feeling of having a person.The kind of person who smiles when they hear me purring before they even see me. The kind of person who doesn't mind sharing their couch with a tuxedo-clad biscuit baker. The kind of person who understands that the best friendships aren't rushed... they're earned. I have a few things working in my favor. I'm beautiful, look great draped across a couch, or freshly folded laundry. I make excellent biscuits. My purr motor is in perfect working condition.I enjoy feather wands, spring toys & investigating suspicious blanket activity.I've got great manners, get along with other cats & do well with calm, respectful dogs. Kids are fine as long as they are nice to me and don't push my buttons. I'm not the kind of girl that likes to be chased or manhandled. Most importantly, when I love someone, I really love them. I'm not looking for someone perfect. Just someone to belong to. I've always had a soft spot for men. My dad loved me as much as I loved him! There's a good chance I'll decide any kind-hearted human in the house is worth following around. But truly, what matters is that I belong.
