Dewey's Story
Meet Dewey!

Dewey is a beautiful medium-haired brown tabby with gorgeous long ear tufts and a personality to match! He is the leader of his sibling trio and is always the first one to investigate something new. He is confident, curious, sweet, and very cuddly. One of his favorite things is snuggling up inside a hoodie with his person—because being close to you is the best place to be!

Dewey, along with his siblings Huey and Louie, came to us in heartbreaking condition. Their eyes were sealed shut from severe eye infections, and they were only about 4–5 weeks old. They were severely dehydrated and malnourished and had apparently lost their mom. With their eyes sealed shut, they were unable to find her, leaving them especially vulnerable while living outside and exposed to all the dangers of the outdoors.

They were incredibly hungry when they arrived and were so happy to finally have food and care. With lots of TLC in their foster home, these little survivors made an amazing transformation. Before long, they were bouncing around, playing, and acting like happy, healthy kittens should!

Because Dewey came to us at such a young age, he is wonderful with people and should adjust well to just about any loving home. Of course, he would love to have one of his siblings—Huey or Louie—as his forever companion. Kittens thrive with a feline friend, and having a sibling by his side would make his happy ending even sweeter.

If you're looking for a handsome, adventurous, cuddly kitten with a big personality, Dewey may be your perfect match!

All cats and kittens adopted through Rescue Connect are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).
See our adoption process below:
Applicants must be 21 years old
1) Fill out the adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/262496787913172
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a delivery date which includes a home visit
