After losing their housing and preparing for an out-of-state move, they spent weeks reaching out to rescues, shelters, family, and friends trying to find a safe place for him. They wanted to do the responsible thing and make sure he would be cared for.<br/><br/>When LapCats learned of his situation, we stepped in to help.<br/><br/>Deuce is now safe in a loving foster home, fully vetted, and ready to find his forever family! Best of all, he needed absolutely no time to settle into LapCats Manor. He quickly made himself at home with our resident cats, and the feeling is mutual—they all adore him, and he loves them right back. His easygoing, social personality has made him an instant favorite.<br/><br/>This sweet baby doesn't like to be left out. He is a total lap cat, purrs up a storm, needs high places to climb, and cat friends to be with. He is PURRFECT!<br/><br/>Were grateful his family reached out for help rather than leaving him without options. Surrendering a beloved pet is never an easy decision, and we know this decision came from a place of love and wanting the very best for him.<br/><br/>Now all Deuce needs is a forever home where he can continue to share his affectionate, friendly nature. <br/><br/>The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.<br/><br/>All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. <br/><br/>We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
