Meet Deputy — Chief of the Fun Patrol! <br/><br/>If there's fun happening, Deputy is probably responsible. <br/><br/>All of the kittens in this crew are incredibly sweet, but Deputy has earned the title of most playful. He's a happy, friendly, fun-loving boy who's always ready to wrestle, chase, investigate a toy, or turn something completely ordinary into his next great adventure.<br/><br/>Deputy came into rescue with his siblings after their mama was humanely trapped by Animal Control. While Mama preferred a more independent lifestyle, her kittens had very different plans and took to indoor family life beautifully.<br/><br/>Along the way, the siblings even gained an honorary brother, Harold, an orphaned three-week-old kitten their mama happily accepted as one of her own. Nobody told Harold he was adopted, and we'd still appreciate everyone keeping that information confidential. <br/><br/>Deputy is currently fostered with his sister Cadet and Honorary Officer Harold, who are also looking for homes. He loves having feline friends around and would be thrilled to continue his adventures with a buddy.<br/><br/>Sweet, social, and always ready to play, Deputy is looking for a family that appreciates a kitten who takes his responsibilities very seriously.<br/><br/>Current assignment: PLAY.<br/>Next assignment: Find his forever family. <br/><br/>Deputy is officially on patrol for hearts. <br/><br/>Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.<br/><br/>All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
