Debbie's Story

Meet Debbie, an ideal cat for your cat! Debbie is ready for a new home with patient pawrents and other playful kitties to be her friends.

Debbie loves to play, specifically with toys (especially mouse-shaped toys that she can carry around in her mouth), and playing tag with her resident cat friend! Debbie would do best in a household with other friendly cats to play with- they also will help her gain confidence in adjusting to her new job as being a house cat. She is a bit shy around new people, but is already opening up while in foster! Because Debbie is shy, it will take some time and patience for her to adjust to her new surroundings, so she would do best in a calm home. Wherever she goes, she would love a small quiet room to hang out in at first to settle in and feel safe.

Once Debbie is ready to come out of her shell, you'll notice that she is very vocal kitty as she enjoys her food and goes about her business in the home.

Debbie is estimated to be almost 4 years old. She is spayed, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Please apply for this playful girl today!

Trash Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Typically the potential adopter reaches out either with or without a specific cat in mind. We will usually ask questions about the type of cat the adopter is interested in (any preferences as far as gender, color, personality, etc.), as well as the sort of home the cat would be going to (any kids, other pets, etc.). If we have a cat or kitten who would be a good fit, the adopter can fill out our application for that animal. If not, the person can still fill out the app, and we will keep them if mind if we end up with a cat who we think would be a good fit. Once the app is reviewed/approved (including checking vet and landlord references), we would chat any further with the adopter if needed, and then schedule a meet and greet with them with the cat or kitten. If the animal and the adopter hit it off, the adopter would then fill out our adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and take the cat or kitten home!
