DeWitt's Story
Seal Point Hissy Mix

These bonded siblings, Eve and DeWitt, were raised by a feral mom until they came to us somewhere between the age of kitten and tween. Initially their favorite activity was hissing at people and hiding, but their foster mom has made strides in acclimating them to humans. Now they are more moody teenagers than feral. DeWitt is very playful, but currently shies away from being petted. Eve is very curious, and she loves to be in the room with humans. She sometimes nestles beside her foster mom and sleeps beside her, but she doesn't seek out petting. Together they love to tussle and snuggle. Eve and DeWitt would be the perfect cats for someone with the patience for a warming up period, or someone who sees a bit of standoffishness as a positive trait. They get along very well with other cats and are very tidy, quiet, and undemanding.
