Dawson

Meet Dawson, this handsome big guy was found on a local property when he came asking for help. Dawson was skinny, hungry, dirty and had some recent wounds plus many old battle scars as you can see from his ears. Outdoor life for an unneutered male cat can be very rough and Dawson had obviously not had an easy life. Luckily he found a kind man who loves cats and knew how to get help for Dawson.<br/><br/>This sweet big boy has now been fixed, vaccinated and microchipped and he's ready for adoption. Dawson is a very sweet cat who loves attention. He loves to give headbuts to ask for pets or even while you're petting him. He loves belly rubs, cheek scratches, butt scratches, and the only place Dawson prefers you leave alone is his ears and with all the scars/scar tissue he has it's not surprising. <br/><br/>Dawson is a very good eater and has great litter tray habits, he's a very clean boy. He doesn't seem to play a huge amount but does enjoy catnip toys, catnip, Silvervine twigs, furry mice toys, and springs. He also enjoys wet food every evening and treats now and then. <br/><br/>He seems to get along with other cats, as he has been around many different cats in his foster home and even if some didn't like him at first, he didn't react badly he just ignored them. He could go to a home that has another cat(s) or on his own, as all he really wants is attention from people.<br/><br/>He has been introduced to dogs in the foster home and at first was very nervous of them, but over time has learned that they are not going to harm him and now he just tends to ignore them. <br/><br/>Even though Dawson is a very affectionate boy and loves cuddles, he has only been around a teenagers and we are unsure how he would be with small children, so older children only please.<br/><br/>This handsome chill affectionate boy is loving the indoors only life, though I'm sure he'd love a catio if given the chance. <br/><br/>He is such a sweet cat that just wants a family who will love and spoil him for the rest of his life.<br/><br/>Are you that family?
