Darrius's Story

Darrius is a playful, confident little fluffball with an easygoing spirit, a nonstop purr motor, and the perfect balance of independence and affection.

Darrius and his Country Kitten siblings are equal parts fluffy chaos, fearless adventure crew, and professional cuddle bugs. One minute the house is filled with the sound of tiny paws thundering down the hallway as they launch into full-speed zoomies, wrestling matches, and toy-chasing marathons, and the next minute they are stretched out across the nearest blanket, chair, or human as though their busy little kitten lives have completely exhausted them.

They are playful, curious, and wonderfully confident house kittens who approach life with happy enthusiasm. Feather wands, crinkle toys, cardboard boxes, cat trees, toy mice — if it exists, they are convinced it was placed there specifically for their entertainment. You can often hear them racing through the house together before suddenly reappearing as a pile of fluff and whiskers in a sunny spot.

This litter also comes equipped with some of the loudest purrs and funniest mealtime sounds imaginable. Wet food time is an experience all by itself — complete with enthusiastic chomps and slurps that somehow sound exactly like a collection of tiny leaky faucets.

Although they were born outdoors during the winter, they immediately showed how trusting, resilient, and affectionate they were once safe indoors. They adore human attention, happily seek out affection, and each has their own sweet, confident personality. They also love their foster dog brother and fit beautifully into a lively home full of activity, affection, and fun.

These babies are the kind of kittens who make a house feel happier simply by being in it.

Darrius is ready to bring his playful charm, sweet nature, and happy little purrs to a family that will adore him.

---

As with all of our young kittens, it is required that they be adopted as a pair, with another kitten, or to a home with another cat(s).

Submit an Adoption Application to be considered:
https://www.tailshigh.org/home/adoption-application/

Completing the application does not guarantee it will be approved. We are an all volunteer group and unfortunately are unable to answer every phone call, adoption inquiry, or application. Please understand you will be contacted only if your application is approved.
