Darrell (m) 1yrs old beige spotted tabby's Story

Meet Darrell

The Sweetest Little Snuggle Bug Looking for His Forever Family!
Darrell is an adorable little boy with the cutest face and the gentlest heart. While he enjoys playing like any kitten, what he loves most is being close to his feline friends. He would much rather curl up for a cuddle than spend all day chasing toys.

His story
Born into a large colony, Darrell grew up surrounded by brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles. Because of this, he is wonderfully social and gets along with everyone—big cats, little cats, and even dogs! He must be adopted into a home with another friendly cat, as he truly needs a feline companion to feel happy and secure.

At his foster home, you'll often find him sleeping beside Peter and Pinky (also available for adoption), playing with Patsy and Carol, or happily hanging out with Suzie, the foster dog. He especially enjoys snuggling with gentle older female cats and has blossomed into a loving, affectionate kitten who enjoys attention from people.

If you're looking for a kitten whose greatest joy is curling up beside you or another kitty, Darrell is the perfect little companion.

Date of Birth: May 10, 2025
Adoption Fee: $295
Wellness exam
Neutered
FVRCP vaccines & booster
Rabies vaccine
Dewormed
Microchipped

Darrell would do best with: A home with another friendly cat or kitten

Cat-friendly dogs: Yes
Children: 12 years and older

Nutrition Is Very Important
*****Darrell is fed a grain-free diet only and must never eat foods containing corn or fillers. His diet includes high-quality grain-free wet and dry food, with sardines in water and eggs as healthy additions. We ask his future family to continue providing him with the same quality nutrition to help him live a long, healthy life.

Please do not apply if anyone in your household is allergic to cats.

Important Health Information
Please note that not all cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, and FIP cannot be detected through routine wellness examinations. We will fully disclose any medical information observed or identified while Darrell has been in our care.
As with any rescue cat, some illnesses have an incubation period of 1014 days. A kitten may leave our rescue appearing completely healthy and later become ill after adoption. The stress of moving into a new environment can temporarily weaken a cat's immune system. We encourage all adopters to schedule a wellness visit with their veterinarian shortly after adoption and to continue providing excellent nutrition and routine veterinary care.
Darrell has already overcome so much. Now all he needs is a loving family, a kitty friend to cuddle with, and a forever home where he'll never be alone again. Could that home be yours?
This version is written to capture attention on Facebook while highlighting Darrell's affectionate personality and the importance of finding him the right forever home.
